Assistant Manager – Spooner’s
Based at Spooner’s Grill, Café & Bar, Porthmadog
This is a permanent position from March 2019. Reporting to the Spooner’s Manager, the successful candidate will deputise for the Manager in their absence, running our busy Grill, Café & Bar in Porthmadog. Extensive catering or hospitality experience is essential for this role.
Hours: 40 hours per week, any 5 days out of 7. Weekend, evening and Bank Holiday working will be required.
Rate of pay: Dependent on experience

Bar Supervisor – Spooner’s
Based at Spooner’s Grill, Café & Bar, Porthmadog
We are recruiting for a Bar Supervisor for our busy bar in Porthmadog. Cellar and bar supervisory experience are essential for this role. This is a seasonal position from March to December 2019 with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.
Hours: Seasonal variance, up to 40 hours per week
Rate of pay: Dependent on experience, Exceeds National Living Wage

Tan y Bwlch Café Supervisor
Based at Tan y Bwlch Station, Maentwrog
We are looking for an experienced supervisor to run our popular café at Tan y Bwlch Station on the Ffestiniog Railway. This is a hands-on role so cooking experience is essential. This is a seasonal position from March to end of October 2019.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Rate of pay: dependent on experience, exceeds National Living Wage

Based at Spooner’s Grill, Café & Bar, Porthmadog
We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our team of catering assistants. These are seasonal positions from March to end of October 2019.
Hours: Full, part time and casual positions available
Rate of pay: National Living / Minimum Wage applies

On Train Services Cook / Supervisor
Based at Dinas or Porthmadog for the Welsh Highland Railway.
We are recruiting for a Cook / Supervisor to work on our trains producing hot and cold meals to order. Cooking experience is essential, supervisory experience is desirable. This is a seasonal position from March to end of October 2019.
Hours: 24 – 40 hours per week
Rate of pay: Above National Living Wage

On Train Stewards
Based at Dinas, Caernarfon or Porthmadog, for both Ffestiniog Railway and Welsh Highland Railway.
We are recruiting for a number of enthusiastic Stewards to be the face of both the Ffestiniog Railway and the Welsh Highland Railway, working on our trains selling refreshments etc. These are seasonal positions from March to end of October 2019.
Hours: Full time and part time positions available
Rate of pay: National Living / Minimum Wage applies
