John Wood of Tryfan Junction

Sad news about John Wood – ‘Woody’ as he was known to all, who manned Tryfan Junction station in the 2016 and 2017 seasons.

John died last week, in hospital, where he had been for about two months as his health had deteriorated.

The funeral is next Friday, 5th July at 11:00 at Bangor Crematorium; donations in memory of John to the Welsh Highland Railway Society – for the mess coach No.1001 restoration fund. https://www.facebook.com/WelshHighlandRailwayHeritageGroup
