Megabash – March 21st. / 22nd.

Megabash is the Spring event when we ensure that the stations on the Ffestiniog Railway are smart and presentable for this year’s passengers. This is especially important this year as they have suffered the full force of the Winter weather.

The gardeners will be busy on the long garden at Minffordd Station, plus the flower tubs and window boxes elsewhere. Those volunteers who come armed with their DIY skills will be busy at Blaenau where there is a variety of jobs to be done. There will be the usual sign-writing class in the Gweithdy and a team of electricians will tackle installation work at Boston Lodge.

After a busy day, we always enjoy a hot three course meal at Tan y Bwlch on the Saturday evening.
