Progress at the Gweithdy
Work is progressing well – by Eileen Clayton. We have painted all the barge and fascia boards, except for the last coat which will be applied after they’ve been fitted, We’ve done several more interior annex walls with t&g and virtually finished the annex ceiling,
Neil Morton has been in the machine shop in the carriage works and has cut a lot of timber to profile for the door frames, we fitted all the glass to the roadside windows although not all the putty has yet been applied and the porch is virtually rebuilt. We also risked painting roadside wall, both putting primer on the newly fitted corrugated metal and putting on the first cream coat,
In fact, as I drove passed this morning, I noticed it was painted over and is looking really smart!
A great effort by the team.
