Hot Drinks for Staff and Volunteers

It is now ten years since the introduction of a 20p charge for hot chocolate, tea and coffee in Spooner’s.  In that time both our overhead costs and the costs of the supplies required to make the drinks have increased. Therefore, in order to offset these price increases we have decided, after review, to increase the price of a staff hot drink to 40p. This applies to all hot drinks in Spooner’s and also to barista style hot drinks at Tan y Bwlch Station Tea Room and Caffi De Winton, Caernarfon. 

This price increase will be applicable from Saturday 14th March 2020

Please remember that FREE hot and cold drinks are available in the Guards Room at Porthmadog, and FREE tea and filter coffee at Tan-y-Bwlch Station Tea Room, and Caffi De Winton, Caernarfon for all on duty staff as there is nowhere at these stations for you to make your own hot drink. 

We sincerely hope that you will understand the reason for the increase.
