North Wales/Black Hand Gang in Action

‘Over the weekend of 5/6 January the North Wales/Black Hand Gang started work on the final track layout at Caernarfon.

The track that had been laid last winter was only temporary as the contractors still required access to the rear of the building at that time. The head-shunt track as well as the track, back to the straight sections in the platform and loop were taken up, the ballast was re-levelled by our contractor W H Jones and the turnout was moved to its final position.
