Progress report on winter works on many of our loco’s courtesy of Paul Lewin

NG 16 – 87. The boiler is being refurbished at Israel Newtons and aiming for the Hydraulic Test the end of February.

The Formers for the new Inner Firebox of NG16 143 boiler have arrived at Israel Newtons, this is a long term job. John Eastwood is proudly showing of the Formers that were kindly funded by the WHR Society.

The Australian Boiler for 129 is making excellent progress at LMS Loughborough and is also scheduled for Hydraulic Test at the end of February

James Spooners boiler is making good progress at Tanat Valley and is scheduled to return to Boston Lodge in springtime for erection of sub assemblies.
