George Arthur Brown

It is with great sadness that I have to inform you all that George Brown passed away last Friday, 29th of July.  

This comes as shock to us all as George appeared to be in fine health and was seen earlier in the week working with the hosting team at Tan y bwlch station. 

George Arthur Brown was born on the 16th of August 1949 and was just a few weeks short of his 73rd birthday. He has little in the way of immediate family but he was very much part of the wider Ffestiniog family, something which I know he valued immensely. He has been a long standing and loyal volunteer working in so many different ways to support our organisation. 

George had many friends who will no doubt wish to celebrate his life and remember him.  At this time, we do not have any information about funeral arrangements. We will of course communicate further once the details are known.
