Sad news comes our way that Ged Perks passed away on September 8th. 

Having worked for S&T he moved to join the Works staff under Mike Bradshaw and became responsible for the electrical installations in the carriages including the main wiring and batteries. 

He was also a diesel driver responsible for the fuel trains, keeping the Den clean and ordering the milk. He was quite a character, loved fishing and beer and for a while lived in the annex at Minffordd Station. He retired in 2017.
