The Sunday work session with a works train and a gang of 8 checked and rodded all the drains from just below Plas Halt to the top end of Cei Mawr as part of the on going maintenance regime.Continue reading
A quick update from last Sunday – The Drains Gang were to be found working above Tunnel North (managing to dodge the rain reasonably well).
The work undertaken included:
- Delivered our entire stock of new lids to the relevant locations.
With a gang of 8 on Sunday the following work was undertaken ;
- Completed the new drain from the goods shed point to the existing Goods Shed chamber.
- Rebuilt the dry stone wall next to the Goods Shed point lever
As the gang was working at Minffordd Yard, Bonnie and I were able to join them on Sunday.Continue reading
